Does Brazil have Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr?

Brazil does not list Eid al-Fitr as a holiday. The federal holidays are fixed by Law 662 of 1949 and Law 6.802 of 1980; religious days are handed by Law 9.093 of 1993 to the municipalities, declared by municipal law according to local tradition and capped at four, with Good Friday already taking one slot. So Brazil's system does leave a door for religious festivals to come in, but there are only four doors and which one opens is decided by the town council — meaning the same Eid can be a day off in one municipality and a working day in the next.
